Version 2026.10.0: A New Question Type, and Logic You Can Trust

Ask for Exactly the Number You Need

Add a Number control for whole numbers, decimals, currency amounts or percentages. Set the decimal places, a prefix or suffix such as "kg" or "£," and a minimum and maximum. Respondents see the allowed range above the field and a clear message if they're outside it, and the Review page, PDF and your logic rules all read the number the same way, 50 means 50%.

Logic Rules You Can Actually Trust

Hide a section or page and its questions come with it: a required question inside no longer blocks Submit, and the answers are kept in case it reappears. Rules that make a question required or optional now work across every question type, including Address, Image annotate, Date range and Multimedia. And removing an option a rule depends on flags the rule immediately, rather than letting it fail silently later.

Also in This Release:

• Smoother invites for existing users: inviting someone who already has a Pilotis account now signs them straight into the right organisation, with their roles and teams already set.
• Flexible banners: banners can show text only, an image only, or both, and a banner with nothing to show is left off the form.
• Clearer date and number rules: logic checks on date and number questions now catch genuine mistakes, like a rule a slider could never actually meet, without blocking valid ones.
• Checkbox limits enforced live: Checkbox and Image Checkbox questions stop you at the maximum as you go, instead of only flagging it after the fact.
• Searchable lists: long lists, like fonts, templates and currencies, are now searchable instead of requiring a scroll.
• Tidier invitation and account emails: invitation, welcome and password reset emails now show their images properly and no longer greet you with a blank name.

Plus a number of smaller reliability and accessibility improvements throughout.
